This Can't Happen
I am not sure why I didn’t hit on this last week but something happened in New York City that could be a game changer. Not in a good way I assure you.
Zohran Mondani won the Democratic Mayoral primary beating Former Gov Andrew Cuomo handily.
I know people think I over-exaggerate and use too many powerful adjectives to describe things but the truth is, this is by far the worst thing that has happened to New York City since 9/11.
This guy is an avowed Social Democrat or in other words he is a Socialist.
What have I always said about Socialism, it has never worked anywhere, ever, in the history of the World. His form of government and leadership will be the final nail in the coffin of New York.
This is important in so many ways and I will try and hit on a couple of them.
The city has barely recovered from the devastation of that moron Mayor Bill de Blasio. His policies were destructive and so in line with ultra liberals it made me sick. The city went from being a great place to live and work to a shit hole. Tourists flocked to New York for a million different things and they all spent big bucks while they were here. de Blasio tore down the safety fabric of the city and was one of the first mayors to invite illegal immigrants to come and live here. It cost the city billions and did it actually help anyone? No.
The whole idea of a sanctuary city is illegal and the Federal government should take every one of these Democratic sewer pits to court. In any event, he led the charge it seems.
Eric Adams got elected and while I don’t think he was a great mayor, he was dealt a crappy hand and he did the best he could. Sure, he was out prowling the clubs at 2:30 in the morning but so did Jimmy Walker back in the day. His party disowned him because he wasn’t some leftist bullshit mayor. He was not soft on crime, and for the most part, he had the backs of the NYPD.
Now this foul stench of human being, Mondani comes in and basically talks his way into the mayoral race. He has the backing of the laziest generation in history because he is 31 and speaks well. Does this generation of voters actually listen to what he says?
I give them credit because they believe in equality and fairness and they want to see their politicians react to that. It’s a nice fantasy.
Socialism does not work. It will never work and anyone who adheres to that is an idiot. Sorry, they are.
Why should you work hard evry day and pay out your money to someone who has no interest in working hard? Get off your ass and get a job. Add something to society. That’s it. I do not argue this. I do not apologize for how I feel.
The safety nets should only be there for people who truly need them, everyone else get a job.
One of my other concerns and please don’t think I am racist or antisemitic. Everyone knows that is the furthest thing from the truth.
My issue with this guy and with a large portion of the voting population in NYC is how the Hell do the Jews not want to run this Hamas loving piece of shit out of town. I thought the Jews hated this guy. I just don’t get how 30% of the Jews that voted in last weeks primary, voted for this guy?
I just don’t understand the Jewish people in New York and probably in the US. How do they not see this guy is an antisemite. He has not distanced himself from stupid ass comments about backing the intifada. He probably has “From the River to the Sea” tattooed somewhere.
How does the strongest voting block in New York not run this guy into the ground?
A good friend of mine said there are a lot of “Self Loathing Jews” out there. WTF does that mean? Is that why they didn’t fight harder to crush this guy? I mean, come on, Andrew Cuomo was not the anti christ for God’s sake. Sure he had issues but what happened to the Big Bad Democratic Machine? He had millionaires backing him and he still lost.
What gives?
I really don’t know to be honest.
The next phase is finding a candidate to defeat this POS. Curtis Sliwa is not the guy. If you have ever listened to him, it is very hard to like him or take him seriously. The only hope NYC has is if Mayor Adams runs on the Republican ticket. Sliwa backs out and Andrew Cuomo throws his support to him as well. Otherwise…
The importance of this election is not only local. The greatest city in this country needs a mayor that will lead the city forward, working to fix the problems and take advantage of it’s natural resources, it’s people. This Mondani fella is not that person.
The nation has to look at this as well. If you have four of the greatest cities in this country run by Democrats and they all suck, what does that say about Democratic leadership? It sucks. If this guy does get elected and he fucks New York City up, the Democratic party will never ever recover. They know it too.
The left loves the idea but the left also knows that any failures by left leaning politicians hurts them way more than it helps them and if some socialist destroys the greatest city in the country, they will never be able to bullshit their way out of it.
I know people in the rest of the country don’t believe in the importance of New York. It’s just a large unrully city but it doesn’t mean much else and they might be partially right but remember, every great country has one great city. The city to which the World looks at with very different eyes.
You think anyone gives a shit about Los Angeles or Miami? No, they don’t.
