They Got It Wrong Yet Again
If you have been a loyal reader of my column, you know who I am talking about.
No, not the NY Jets. That’s another rabbit hole I will never go down.
No, I am talking about the left and Democrats in general.
The “No Kings” march demonstration is just another example of how the Democrats want their narrative out there, no matter how off it actually is.
I have been thinking long and hard about the left’s fear of the Trump White House becoming more like a dictatorship than someone who was democratically elected to the office. In an almost landslide.
Forget the fact that the Democrats blew that one, Donald Trump was elected, fair and square. No recounts, no busted machines that needed to be reprogrammed. No nonsense. He is in, Harris is writing her autobiography.
So you have a president who was elected and who has a very clear mandate. That president is doing what he promised the American people, during his campaign and since day one.
Because the Democrats in years past have stacked certain judicial seats with their own handpicked candidates, they have made Trump’s agenda a challenge to say the least but he has continued to fight the good fight.
The claims that President Trump wants to create a new form of dictatorship is not founded on any facts.
The president has done hundreds of things that maybe you can scratch your head but everything he has done so far has been scrutinized in the courts and when something was considered out of bounds or unconstitutional, Trump has backed off and went a different route.
A dictator would not back off and respect the rule of law. President Trump has done just that, respected the rule of law. So where are these protestors or marchers coming up with that Trump wants to be king.
Is it because the man actually gives a shit about this country? That whats pissing them all off?
I want every reader to go look at the march on The Mall in Washington. Probably 150 to 200 thousand marchers. Pretty impressive and peaceful so it’s all good. Except one thing, with that crowd, wouldn’t you think there would be more American flags? I saw a larger view and I broke it down the best I could and maybe there were 60-70 flags that were apparent. If you put 6,000 Trump supporters at a rally in Peoria, there would probably 500 to 1,000 flags. I know that is sort of dumb comparison but if you really supported this country you would have an American flag and not some dumb ass sign or placard that is protesting a non-existent situation.
There are a multitude of things that Donald Trump has done or tried to that I didn’t like but at the end of the day, at the end of everyday, I know this man wants to protect this country and try to make it prosper more than it has in the past.
You want a president that is a mover and a shaker. He shakes something that is unconstitutional, he will be told to stop and he will.
The protestors were all bent out of shape about ICE and the National Guard and that situation. The situation is more about coverage and perspective than actual facts.
These protestors believe that this Trump’s attempt at taking over the country by military force.
Huh?
Please have someone explain to me how having the National Guard coming into a city like Portland Oregon and protecting Federal agents doing their job? Sorry, I don’t bite on that one and apparently some appelet court didn’t bite either. If the courts turned against the approach anywhere in this country, the National Guard would obey the rule of law.
That’s not the sign of a man or an administration trying to take over the country by force. It is the national government coming in and doing what the local governments refuse to do and protect their citizens and if anyone thinks that ICE agents or Federal employees anywhere aren’t US citizens and worth protecting then you are the problem, not Donald Trump.
One media narrative that I have to say is a load of shit is the one about George Soros funding the “No Kings” marches. Give me a break please. Blame this guy for all sorts of stuff but I highly doubt he was funding much or any of these protests. The guy has some serious money but is he going to have one of his proxies write checks for hundreds of millions of dollars to fund the stupidity? No, I imagine he is behind a lot of other stuff but this particular event he stood by and applauded.
Speaking of George Soros, I rarely, if ever, mention the guy and I am not sure why because I think over the years his Open Society Foundation has done more harm than any one Political Action Committee than any other organization in the last 50 years.
What I don’t understand about this guy is why he hates America so much and why does he hate Jews and The State of Israel? I just don’t get it. I don’t know if he is an American citizen or still a citizen of Hungary and I know he not a practicing Jew. I mean the guy escaped the Holocaust and thrived in two of the World’s greatest Democracies, The UK and the United States.
Why hate so much when these countries gave you the opportunity to make a mark in this World?
The march and everything you hear from the left and from Democrats in general just goes to show you that they do have a message but no one seems to know what it is.
