Political Doldrums As Well
At this point in the summer, nothing much happens other than the kids are getting back to school. College campuses are filling up. Mothers and fathers are doing last minute school shopping and someone, somewhere is looking to indict Donald Trump yet again.
I am in the camp of the more damage you try to do to this man, the more his supporters support him. He’s like The Hulk. More pain makes him stronger. It’s not a good strategy by the Democrats for sure.
Along with the fact that the Democrats may be putting up a feeble sitting President as their candidate who probably should be retired in Delaware, enjoying his sunset years.
And what about Kamala? I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that she may be the most unlikable VP since Spiro T Agnew. You know where that ended.
So, without beating a point to death, the Democrats may have over played the indictment thing.
The more I read and the more I listen to intelligent people go over the charges in Georgia, the more I think that he will win that one. It’s in the Constitution that we can petition our government and listening to the phone calls and other printed excerpts, I think the prosecutor may have a hard time convincing a jury that President Trump was telling someone to steal votes. It’s all about interpretation and I think Donald Trump will skate on this one. I also think he will skate on that bogus charge by the Manhattan District Attorney, Alvin Bragg. That literally was one of the dumbest, politically motivated charges in recent memory and that one is a goner.
The June 6th indictment might be trickier but I am not really sure how solid that case is either.
Last but not least, storing confidential documents at Mar a Lago is a bunch of crap as well. They all do it and they all can say with a straight face that those documents were rendered declassified because as President, thats what I am allowed to do. Besides, you want to pick on President Trump about this maybe someone should bring up Hillary Clinton’s little escapade with her personal computer.
It’s all a load of garbage and it’s distracting to say the least. Maybe that was the ultimate plan. Distract Trump so he can’t rile up his base and actually appeal to the moderates and independents that will tilt the upcoming election.
I don’t think it will work.
Main reason, and I am in the minority here, is not what Trump is doing or going to do but it is Joe Biden doing nothing. No campaigning. No stump speeches. Maybe a policy statement or a braggart press release here and there and that will be it.
Americans can and will see through it however. Americans want to see the candidates. You know Trump will rally 20 or 30 thousand to a cornfield on 3 days notice, can Joe Biden do the same. No, he can’t and won’t.
President Biden is not mentally right for anything, let alone a strenuous campaign against a villainous opponent. I feel for him in a way. He has the heart of a lifelong politician but his mind doesn’t have the capacity to handle the job anymore. It is called getting old and it is sad because it happens to everyone at some point. His handlers and the real powers that be in the Democratic Party should finally acknowledge that and bring in new blood.
The common thread in the Conservative media is that the Democrats do not want to give up Joe Biden, he is the ultimate puppet and has done their bidding for a solid three years and they think they can control him for five more. They are going to be dealing with more and more headaches as time goes on and no matter how blind the liberal media is in this country, they will have to accept the fact that President Joe Biden is not fit for another term.
The Hunter Biden drama should be a death knell for the Biden Presidency and the only reason it is not is because the FBI and the Department of Justice are doing their damndest to protect the President and the First family but it really does stink to high Hell. Imagine if one of Donald Trump’s kids was involved in such shenanigans. God almighty that would be the end of the World.
Originally, I had said that I hated Joe Biden. I think I may have been a little harsh. Hate is a very strong word and I only truly hate beans and legumes for the most part. Dislike is a better description.
I gave him the benefit of the doubt and he failed several different times and I still think his presidency rates a D. Although there has been some pushback on his original policies and he has made some progress in some areas, he has failed miserably with immigration and energy policy.
His faux pas are adding up as well and the fact that it took him two weeks to get to Maui should say a lot about the man himself.
However, it is the end of summer. Political winds are just starting to stir and things can change over time and this should be a very interesting 14 months.
