Lost Their Way

I know I have recently written an column about how far the Democratic Party has drifted from it’s foundation.

The party of slavery and the KKK has slipped into the dark void that is the far left. Unless someone comes along and pulls them back from the abyss, the party may never recover.

Disliking Donald Trump is one thing. We have seen it over and over again how the left and the national news media can never give president Trump his due. He could cure Cancer and they would find fault that he didn’t cure the common cold. It has gotten so blatant that even a moderate like myself can’t stand to listen to any of it anymore.

I dumped the New York Times years ago because of their never ending attack dog posture against President Trump and anything remotely related to the Republican party. They cried about division but they sowed that division probably better than anyone else. It’s a shame because their reporting used to be exceptional and they even had a sports section. I would subscribe to the Athletic, which is excellent by the way, and maybe their cooking food section, but the rest of it, biased, unbalanced reporting.

I subscribed to the Washington Post because I thought I might get a better balance. How wrong was I. They are as bad, if not worse than the Times. The editors were worried about Bezos owning them and editorial conflicts. It seems nothing has changed. They suck and they have zero sports coverage.

Do I want to read the NYPost? Absolutely not. First off, the storytelling and the reporting is horrible. They put headers up so you read the particular article and the header is completely misleading. There are multiple editing mistakes and they fact check only on February 29th. Once every four years.

I guess it’s the Wall Street Journal for me.

Back to the abyss the Democratic Party is approaching.

I am not the only one who sees this happening. I have gotten probably 20 different influencers( I guess that’s what they are) explaining intelligently how the Democratic Party has given up and just lost it’s way.

The fact that so many Democrat leaders have come out in support of a radical leftist like Mondami (Democratic Mayoral Candidate in New York) should say it all. The party has lost complete touch with the country.

To say that AOC ( I refuse to spell out her whole name) is now the leadership of the Democratic party also says a lot. She is Democratic Socialist and as long as I live I will never ever say that Democratic Socialism has a place in America. It doesn’t. She promotes it, like Bernie Sanders. What is wrong with these people?

To think that any sort of socialism would work shows a complete lack of intelligence and I write it here but put me in front of any socialist leaning idiot and I will tell them to their face. It doesn’t work, will never work.

This is the path the Democrats have chosen and while there is a growing population that really isn’t into Trump and his rhetoric, they are looking at the alternatives in the Democratic party.

What choices do the Democratic base have?

I would say very few. The party has chosen the path and until they realize that Americans aren’t buying this bullshit, they are stuck.

A coupe of points.

One, I am pretty damn sure there are not very many Republicans that hate this country. It’s part of their DNA, they love the Country and are very proud of their flag. They know that it isn’t perfect but it is still a great nation.

The Democrats (not all mind you) don’t like this country. They don’t raise the flag and believe that it is worth fighting for. They see the bad, the past history that can not be changed but still blame the present. They aren’t flying the flag. Donald Trump is the cause of every conceivable thing that has gone wrong in this country.

To that point, why would anyone blame Donald Trump for the devastating loss of life in Central Texas this week? Are they fucking stupid? From what I have seen and what I read, the National Weather Service (with all the cuts) had warned of potential flooding and the risks involved. How in the World could anyone blame the President for an act of God? Did the media and any number of pediatricians blame Biden for what happened in Western Carolina? Come on now.

I don’t think I have ever seen anything as low as what some obvious Democrats have said about what happened to those 200+ people who died. How fucking low do you have to be? I will bet my family fortune on the fact that not one of those idiots voted for a Republican.

This is how far the Democratic party has sunk and I hope to God they never crawl out of the muck they have created.
