With that thing in Iowa over and the primary in New Hampshire finished, I think we have a pretty good idea of who will be the Republican candidate for President in 2024.
It isn’t Nikki Haley, too bad, I kind of like her. It will be President Trump giving it another shot. Let’s forgo all of the nonsense between now and November 5th (My Birthday, hint hint) and let’s face it, we are going to have two of the most divisive candidates in history running against each other.
Ugh, this is going to be freaking painful.
Donald Trump is as annoying a human being as could possibly be imagined and President Joe Biden is by far the worst candidate the Democrats have ever put up for re-election.
How do we get warm and fuzzy for either candidate? It is impossible.
It is a little early but how can we Americans attach ourselves to either party’s platform.
The GOP is basically destroying democracy (according to the New York Times) and the Democratic party has saved the World from, let’s make a list; Covid, The GOP, The Recession, Crime, uh, not sure what else they have done but I am sure it’s earth shattering.
The facts and what are actually the facts have never been so far apart as they are now.
I won’t even give that BS line about Republicans destroying Democracy a second thought because the one thing I am damn sure of is that every Republican I know loves this country and loves Democracy, as ugly as it can get sometimes.
The Democrats not so much.
Maybe I have a selective memory when it comes to this guy but Barrack Obama did not love this country. Period. The guy was never a patriot, ever. The spawn of Obama, Joe Biden, is molted from the same quicksand of ideology that Obama left us.
Joe Biden does not love this country and Joe Biden has never stood up for Democracy, just like Obama.
Look at our border and try and make a case for Joe Biden.
I rest my case and I rest the whole political weight on this fact:
Donald Trump is many many things but you can never say he does not love America.
That is the end of story as far as I am concerned.
Narrow minded, ignorant, call me what you want but if you break down the things that Donald Trump did as President versus what Joe Biden has done during his tenure you can not argue that fact.
I know it’s hard for people to separate accomplishments from the soiled mind but face it, the United States was feared, respected and expected to be the leader of the free World. During Trumps Presidency, that was never in question. During Joe Biden’s Presidency we look like clowns.
I think that Joe Biden had multiple opportunities to be a decent if not very good President but he blew every chance and that is a shame because had Joe Biden actually been his own man in the White House, I don’t think there would be much question about his ability to retain the job. Unfortunately, he is still a puppet of Obama and the far left. This has not served anyone very well and that is what people should be talking about. His failures have overwhelmed his successes by like 7-1.
I, at first, wanted to give president Biden a chance. I believed that the President’s success is our success but then he shut down the Keystone Pipeline project and signaled to the left,” I am with you Man”. Huge mistake that has taken the US oil industry 2 1/2 years to overcome. With Exxon Mobil and Chevron basically telling the White House, “Go to Hell” they have pushed production and made the US a net exporter again, cutting the Worlds reliance on Russian and Middle East oil.
You think Hamas invading and killing over 1,000 Israeli men, women and children wasn’t a secondary or tertiary move by Iran? The machinations of what goes on in the Middle East is beyond most Westerners understanding. However, one fact will always be there, it is all about the oil.
I see a link there, as tenuous as it might be.
I think Donald Trump has a decent understanding of that fact and Joe Biden has no clue. Joe Biden is that person who will believe the shill at the carnival and put a dollar down because he knows he can knock those three pins down with one softball. I know I can do it, here’s another dollar. And so on.
I am no genius but I can say with pretty good certainty that you cannot trust: A. The Chinese, B. The Iranians, C. The North Koreans. The Russians? They have never been trusted and most likely never will.
Yet, President Biden seems to trust the Iranians since he allowed 6 billion dollars to flow back to them. Yes, I know that money is still in a locked account in Qatar and I know that Qatar can be trusted as far as I can through a barrel of oil. That is tantamount to giving the Chinese money to hold for North Korea. You really are naive if you think that 6 billion dollars has not been used to fund all sorts of dastardly deeds in the Mideast.
The Chinese? I would say the administration changes direction at least twice a month regarding the Chinese. They are our friend and trusted trading partner? Yikes, thats dumb. They have no designs on Taiwan and reunification? Another your head is up your butt moment. The Chinese have stolen a lot of proprietary intelligence from us and continue to do so. Yet, the administration does nothing.
All I am saying here is that the present administration has made monumental mistakes over the last three and half years. Ones that a President who always put America first would not have made.
Oh, the withdrawal from Afghanistan was another blunder that the media has decided is not important enough any more, yet families of those 13 soldiers killed during the pullout will live with that mistake forever.
As a last point before we start this long boring journey to my birthday. With a pretty solid economic environment why do a majority of people in this country not feel like we are in a good place economically? I think this will be the most important issue of the election, even though the border crisis is getting worse.
People generally vote with their wallets. It has been a fact of political life on a national scale pretty much since the 50’s. Given that, Biden should win hands down according to all of the media in this country, yet he is trailing Trump in key states. Key union states where, given the events of the last two years, Biden should have a commanding lead.
This divergence will be another key story in this election cycle. Strong economic conditions generally keep incumbents in place and yet there are huge question marks about this incumbent.
Great pices, shame too many Democrats have been drinking the Obama juice and think Joe is doing a great job.
